The service-provider policies now state that eligibility to offer services to Amazon customers is by invitation only, at Amazon's discretion. The warranty and service-plan policy was renamed and gained more prohibited-listing examples.
On 2026-07-15 Amazon updated the Amazon services provider programme policies, the Selling services on Amazon policies and the Selling services terms to make clear that eligibility to provide services to customers in Amazon's store is invite-only and at Amazon's sole discretion. The Warranties, Service Plans, Contracts and Guarantees Program Policy was renamed to Warranties, Service Plans, Services, Contracts and Guarantees, and now lists more examples of prohibited listings.
Sellers offering assembly, warranty, service plans or similar services as part of a listing.
If a listing bundles a service with a product, read the renamed policy before editing it. Continuing to use the selling services tools after 15 July counts as accepting the update.
