Micro and small operators get until 30 June 2027 — except those already covered by the EU Timber Regulation. Wood and paper sellers go live on 30 December 2026 with everyone else.
The EUDR entry into application was split by operator size. Large and medium operators, and micro and small operators already covered by the EU Timber Regulation, must comply from 2026-12-30. Other micro and small operators have until 2027-06-30. Products newly added to scope by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/2102 — soluble coffee, certain palm oil derivatives, frozen cattle tongues — apply from 2027-12-30. Operators must file a due diligence statement with plot geolocation through the EU information system before placing the goods on the market.
Sellers of wood, furniture, paper, rubber, cocoa, coffee, soy, palm oil, cattle products and their derivatives into the EU, including micro and small sellers of timber and wood products.
Check the commodity column before assuming the 2027 date applies to you. For timber and wood products the date is 30 December 2026 and the filing needs plot geolocation — a list of supplier addresses will be rejected by the information system.
